"AAEA Co-Hosts Well-Received Bio-Fuels Seminar"

The AAEA and Agriculture and Agri-food Canada co-hosted seminar: "The biofuels frenzy: What's in it for Canadian agriculture"
* presented by Dr. Kurt Klein held at the Lethbridge Research Centre on Wednesday, April 18 was extremely well received with an audience over 150, including various media and it received coverage on the Global TV evening and late night news casts. Elwin Smith, AAEA Board Director chaired the session, bringing welcoming remarks on behalf on the AAEA.
* Dr. Klein presented this Invited Plenary Address at the 2007 Alberta Institute of Agrologists Conference at the Banff Centre, March 28, 2007. Given this most timely topic and it's regional impact, the AAEA arranged the Lethbridge seminar for those not at the AIA conference.
